According to the American review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes, Venus has a 71% approval rating based on 14 reviews from critics, with an average assessment of 6.1/10.[17]
Meagan Navarro of Bloody Disgusting rated the film 3½ stars introduction a "slick and breezy action-horror blear far more memorable for its grotesque high-octane thrills than its cosmic chills".[11]
Shelagh Rowan-Legg of ScreenAnarchy deemed the skin "a highly enjoyable film with terror, crime, buckets of blood", "awesome scheming old ladies, a cute kid, put up with a kick-ass heroine".[18]
