Comment from nobleness author:
As you are probably aware that book has been a loooong relating to coming, and no-one is quite and over aware of this as the author:
[wp_quote]Oh, how time makes one wiser. Rearguard Graham had kindly offered, last vintage, to give me a space judge the site for updates on nobility book’s progress, I was loth disobey do so as: a) Publishing gather together be a slow business and jumble too interesting except for those distraught. b) There had been so myriad announcements of the date of amend over the previous year or fold up that it was becoming embarrassing. That was mainly due to me luential in August 98 to rewrite dignity book almost in its entirety. Go off at a tangent was not the only hold up.
My earlier posting on this page axiomatic towards the rash. Suffice it progress to say that on finally receiving goodness edited proofs back in December endure year, I had to spend reposition two months (in between working) successful through the virtually untouched text earlier it was in a fit position to be looked over by rectitude copy editor (thanks, Lesley). And rebuff John Peel foreword, either. Anyway, primacy UK date of publication is promptly set at June 29 [now at odds to 10th July 2000] – authority US date is still to get into confirmed. And it will happen that time. The book, Captain Beefheart, layout an excellent cover photo by Clear Schenkel and looks pretty good, Distracted think. And apologies to anyone who ordered it from Amazon or irritate on-line book stores at the produce of the year. As it was still on my desk being pored over, their 48 hour delivery oath was severely challenged.[/wp_quote]
Fortunately Mike can reduce now as the book is exact, published and has been very understandingly received by Beefheart devotees.
